Peter took up this post in 2003. He was Organ Scholar of St John's College, Durham, and a former Director of Music at St Peter's Collegiate School. He conducts Wolverhampton Symphony Orchestra and gives monthly recitals as Borough Organist at Walsall Town Hall. His children Zoe and Edward are also in the choir. |
Matt joined St. Peter's in September 2011 and can be found singing alto or tenor. He brings a work hard, play hard attitude to the choir and can sometimes be seen in the Lych Gate Tavern after services. |
Toby plays for the Wednesday Choral Evensongs. |

Claudia Grinnell holds the Organ Scholarship, funded by Co-operative Funeral Services. She is in her final year at Wolverhampton Girls High School and is an organ pupil of Dr. David Rendell and Andrew Fletcher. She often accompanies the choir during services. She will be taking up the Organ Scholarship at Peterhouse College Cambridge in 2013. |
Alec White was a chorister and choral scholar here. As a pupil at Wolverhampton Grammar School he achieved the ALCM in Musical Theatre and directed the Chamber Choir He is a Leeds music graduate, specialising in Performance and was Musical Director for Gershwin's "Crazy For You" and Vocal Coach for "Cabaret". Alec has returned to Wolverhampton to begin the process of applying to drama schools. |
David was Assistant Director of Music from 1967 to 2010 and is still very active in the music department. He held the music together for 42 years, through 4 Rectors and 7 Directors of Music. Countless former choristers and organ pupils have very good reason to thank him! |
