Good News.......,

The Organ Fund has reached a level for us to begin the work of restoring the 1860 Willis Nave Organ, to an exciting new scheme. Further details soon, and any further donations would be very welcome.

HUGE Congratulations to former choristers and choral scholars:

STEPHEN MATTHEWS on his 1st class Honours Music degree from St John's College, Cambridge,

GEORGIA TULLEY on her 1st class Honours Music degree from King's College, London,

CLAUDIA GRINNELL, (Music 1st at Cambridge last year)on her appointment as 2nd assistant Director of Music at Winchester Cathedral and getting her FRCO Diploma

And to Choral Scholars AMY PRICE and KIERAN CHOPRA for excellent A-level results. Amy is going to Durham to study Music and Kieran to Cambridge to study Maths.

The choir tours in summer 2017: The boys have been singing in Salisbury Cathedral for their week and the girls have just returned from Canterbury Cathedral for their week-long session deputising for the Cathedral Choir. The girls and men also sang at Westminster Abbey again on July 25.

Congratulations to our latest four winners of the RSCM's prestigious Gold Award! Tom Frith, Janey Harold, Liv Yates and Caitlin Lacey. Great news!

Huge thanks to Harry Castle for taking over the post of Director of Music throughout Peter Morris's sabbatical year. He now begins his first teaching post in London and we all wish him well. Assistant Director of Music Callum Alger is taking up an Erasmus scholarship in Leipzig until February and also goes with our best wishes. Miles Swinden and Harry Fletcher are our new organ scholars.
